Owner, Brownstown Concrete
Tom Buch owns and operates Buch Motorsports and Brownstown Concrete out of his hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Penn State University with a degree Forest Services, as well as captain of the Penn State Rugby Team.
Tom founded Buch Motorsports in 1999.
In 1999, Buch introduced Buch Motorsports and within a year, finished 3rd in points with the U.R.C. Circuit, racing in the Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada with Billy Brian Jr. at the wheel in both 2000 & 2001.
From 2002 to 2007, the team was facing the toughest competitive Sprint car circuit in in the country, within Pennsylvania as a non-traveling team. Piloted by Cliff Brian the team grew and established itself to prepare for the National level.
By 2008, Buch Motorsports had won several races and transitioned to racing nationally. In 2009, the team took to the road with Jesse Hockett, consistently finishing in the Top 10 in ASCS and USAC events, including 2 USAC wins with the Eastern Storm Series, King of the 360's at East Bay, the top paying 360 winged race in the country. As well as the Ultimate Challenge, the highest paying USAC National Sprint Car race in 2009.
2010-2017 Buch Motorsports ran a true "Outlaw" schedule, collecting wins with the World of Outlaws with Paul McMahan, and Tony Stewart's All-Star Circuit of Champions with Danny Dietrich.
2018-2020 Buch Motorsports Competed full time with Paul McMahan, with Allstar Circuit of Champions, with 2 wins and finishing in the top 5 in owners points each year.
2021 - 2024 Buch Motorsports Competed in the All Star Circuit of Champions as well as full-time with the High Limit Series with Justin Peck as the driver. Compiling 19 wins along with winning 2 National Series High Limit Races and 12 ASCoC wins.
In 2025 Daison Pursley will pilot an aggressive schedule running the High Limit Series full-time, as well as many World of Outlaw and local events.
Over the past 25 years, the team has had several elite drivers piloting the Buch sprint car including, Tyler Walker & Jason Leffler from NASCAR, NASCAR Champion Kyle Larson. Sprint Car Hall of Fame drivers Jac Hauldenschild, Tim Shaffer, and Kramer Williamson, Paul McMahan, and Daryn Pittman; as well as future Sprint Car Hall of Famer Danny Dietrich.
